This comedy follows Sam, as her life is turned upside down on a big night out. When reunited with her old college friends, Sam is forced to re-evaluate her life and constructs an elaborate façade in order to convince herself and her friends that she has it all. But once her dysfunctional yet devoted trio of best mates intervene, her carefully crafted charade begins to crumble amidst the shots, cigarettes, ciders and toilet transgressions. Faced with some very harsh realities, Sam must struggle to remain true to herself and reassess exactly what she wants from life.

Pieces of Powder is an independently produced animated series. Follow the story of Powder, a teenage girl who deals with a variety of insecurities and anxieties that significantly impact her relationships. When she meets Marcy, a dynamic force that unexpectedly complements her, Powder's high school journey takes a drastic turn. As their bond deepens, Powder finds herself confronted with long-buried issues and struggles she has evaded for far too long, and goes on a journey to learn how to accept everything about herself, the good, and the bad.

In his crowded family house, Young Freud tries to focus on his medical experiments with a "magic powder" otherwise known as cocaine. His mother calls him down to dinner, where his father and stepbrother taunt him for reaching beyond his grasp. After dinner, his mother gives Freud a special silk cravat and wishes him luck for the next day. Freud is off to see his bride's uncle - to persuade him to finally let them marry. Busy with the rabbi, her uncle derides Freud and his "magic powder." On the carriage ride home, Freud takes some of the powder and has a wild vision - which leads to the great discovery that will insure his name to the history books forever: the Oedipal complex.
